Live to ride. Ride to eat.

About Us:

Mid-Life Cycles is a group of friends living in and around Houston Texas, who happen to have some things in common - one being motorcycles. Our love for riding brought us together, making the relationships with our friends and bikes even more meaningful. We travel near and far, enjoying great friends, beautiful sights and fun times.

What Have We Done?

There were several items removed from the website recently because they were full of useless information. Why was it useless? The information was that of places we have already been to and where we were going to stay. Since those trips have been made, it was time to remove that information and replace it with something for those of you visiting our website to show you what we have been up to this past summer. We start in April with the Ride For Kids Houston Ride. Prior to this ride we hold two fund raisers locally and then we turn that money in on the day of the ride. We made a ride up to Hodges G ardens, which was our first venture to this part of our state as well as Louisiana. We took an overnight ride out to the hill country and visited and some climbed Enchanted Rock as well as taking in a concert in Luchenbach, Texas that evening. We spent that next day taking a creative ride back to Houston. We took a trip or two to Blessing, Texas for lunch at the famous Blessing Hotel. The food is famous there as well. We made a two night trip to Leakey, Texas and had a great time at the D'Rose Inn, Garner State Park, tubing the Frio River, and one of our members went to the nearby Bat Cave to watch the bats taking off on their nightly hunting trip for insects. The last day was started with breakfast in Bandera and the famous OST Restaurant and then a creative trip home to Houston. We recently made an overnight trip to Austin to watch Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes. On this trip we had just over 30 people and around 22 bikes and a couple of cars. Great roads, great friends, great food and great music. Yes, we've had a great time. Some of the rides may have slipped my memory, some of those would be the day rides around the Houston area. Many of us helped with the 2006 Cruzin' to Cure ride which helps the fight against cancer too. You can learn alot about our group on this site as well as on our Yahoo Groups site, should you choose to join up. Ride safe.
