Live to ride. Ride to eat.

About Us:

Mid-Life Cycles is a group of friends living in and around Houston Texas, who happen to have some things in common - one being motorcycles. Our love for riding brought us together, making the relationships with our friends and bikes even more meaningful. We travel near and far, enjoying great friends, beautiful sights and fun times.

Mid Life Cycles / Pearland Holiday Parade- Dec.2nd

It is official as of today, our entry fee has been paid to participate in the Pearland Holiday Parade. The theme is "Around The World". They want the entries to be lighted, so be looking for ways to light up your Iron Horse as we light the path to winning another Trophy for Best Theme this. The catagories for Trophies are: Best Overall, First Runner Up Best Overall, Best Theme "Around The World" (if you have any ideas for the group on this one speak up quick so we can mobilize), and Best Walking, which will not pertain to us. So, like last year, we have a shot at 3 Trohpies. Dress up your ride, and come ride the parade with us. Details for a Parade Practice are on the website below this article. Check out the details there. I spoke with the Parade Coordinator and once again, we will get to be near the front of the parade. We will also employ a parade riding formation to keep the bikes moving and running cool and from what I hear, if done right, looks pretty impressive. If you want to ride up with the group to the staging area, please show up at the Walmart on Dixie Farm Road and FM 518 at 3:46 pm, kick stands up at 4:01 pm to make a short ride to the staging area. You must be at the staging area no later than 4:30. The parade starts at 6pm. The time between 4:30 and 6 will pass quickly and can be used to decorate your bike with items that otherwise would fall off at high speeds. After the parade, we have been invited to Craig, Sheri and Natalie's home for Gumbo. We will take a moment after the parade to take off those items that can't handle the speed, then we will proceed down to their home in League City. If you have any other questions, please contact me at midlifecycles2@aol.com. Hope to see you there. Spongebob

Veteran's Day, Nov. 11th, 2006

Mid Life Cycles would like to pay tribute to our veterans, who have served and are serving all over the world. Many paying the ultimate sacrifice. This picture is from the American National Cemetary in Luxemborg where General Patton is buried. These pictures were taken by our friend Kalle and his brother Ralph, both from Germany. Thanks for the great pics guys! The rest of their pics can be viewed on my Webshots page. Click on Spongebob's Photos below, then click on Veteran's Day.

New Shirts with new layout are in!

The latest order with the latest use of our logo is in! I will put all of the orders together and will have them available to those who ordered them real soon. The order for the small patches goes in tomorrow! This design is different as we tried to get away from the design that had alot of ink on the back of the colored shirts. We also raised the logo in the front just at the seam of the breastularium. We were going to leave the design the same as the old one on the white shirts, but we were looking at alot of extra work to do that, so opted to change all of them , make them all the same. Hope you like the new look and I hope it is cooler. Spongebob

Parade Practice for MLC on Nov.29th @7:30 pm

Come join MLC as we practice for the Pearland Holiday Parade at Gulf Greyhound Park on I-45 South. There is no charge to get in the parking lot gate that night, so please come in the front gate. As you pass thru the gate, you will see the parking lot to your right, veer over that way and we will be practicing in the back of that lot. I would like to ask that all who plan to ride in the parade attend so you know what is expected of you during the parade to make our system of riding work properly in the parade. If you can't join us, I ask that you contact me via email and I will get with you and explain it as best I can. You will be required to sign a liability waiver for Gulf Greyhound Park and you must have current insurance on your bike. Be there, Nov. 29th, 7:30 pm. See you there, Spongebob
